My main role is working on EPDP projects which are projects focused on innovation that introduces a new feature or an entirely new product, as difference with CI (Continuous Improvement) which are, as the name suggests, improvements on the current product which can be cost reductions, warranty problem solving, extension of features and design support for factory.
The projects that I’ve worked on are from EPDP and CI, from CI I have not only worked on and executed projects but also invented new projects that led to have the best cost reduction for the factory 3 years in a row.
On EPDP projects I can not go into detail due to classified information but I’ve worked on structural, hydraulic and electrical/electronic projects. I have also incentivize and executed the use of Virtual Reality for showcasing the designs and proposals for marketing feedback but also for product validation on routing and many other quick verifications without the need of a physical prototype.
